The History of Water

This recent body of work entitled “The History of Water-Neisse River,” is a series of artists books, digital and woodcut prints and a video installation that “educates” the viewer on the history of the Neisse River, which stands again (since 1945) as the border between Germany and Poland.  This “education” comes without clarifying texts or words and relies on the viewers’ recollection, or lack thereof, of historical events and personal interpretation of selected images in order to “know or not know” something about the history of the Neisse River.
